Al-Futtaim Group's entrepreneurship and relentless customer focus enables the organisation to continue to grow and expand; responding to the changing needs of our customers within the societies in which we operate.By upholding our values of respect, excellence, collaboration, and integrity; Al-Futtaim Group continues to enrich the lives and aspirations of our customers each and every day.Overview of the roleThe Senior Engineer role is to design, implement, and manage robust security solutions for cloud environments, ensuring the protection of organizational assets and data from cyber threats while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.What you will doImplement Azure Security Solutions adhering to the principles of Azure Well Architected framework.Provide L3 support for Firewalls, WAF, LTM, Bot Protection, IPS/IDS, Privileged access management systems, Endpoint Security Systems, and other network security systems/tools in Cloud and on premises.Provide L3 Support on Cloud native resources like Load Balancer, Private Endpoints, VNET Peering, Routing, Express Routes etc.Manage support vendor escalations in a timely manner.Implement and maintain network infrastructure in Cloud and Hybrid environment as per defined standards and policies.Automate controls and processes to provide improved metrics and operational support using Infrastructure-as-code and security-as-code.Manage operational duties within a cloud-centric environment using cloud native tools like Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Front Door, DDOS protection, Network Watcher, Express Route, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, and Azure Security Center and other toolsets.Ensure applications and locations are integrated and adhere to defined cloud connectivity architecture & design principles and standards.Assist Application and Infrastructure team for creating Landing zones in Cloud infrastructure.Required Skills to be successfulFamiliar with Network Domain managing Routers, Switches and SDWAN Technologies.Excellent understanding of enterprise networking - IP subnetting, Network Security Groups, routing, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, load balancer, DNS, DHCP.Demonstrated experience in scripting and automation, orchestration tools, Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD concepts to automate creation of testing, staging and production environments.Strong familiarity with cloud capabilities and services in Azure.Exposure to Artificial Intelligence concepts, tools, and services, particularly in the field of cloud computing, with an emphasis on cloud security optimization.What equips you for the roleA degree or diploma in Computer Science or related discipline.Minimum 3 years of experience building and maintaining secure Azure solutions.Minimum 7 years of experience in Network Security Domain managing firewalls, WAF, Privileged Access Mgmt. Systems, Identity and Access Management, Proxy, IPS.Experience in cloud & non-cloud security.Certifications in Cloud Administration, Architecture, Security, Governance with emphasis on Azure.
