Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates | Posted on 08/11/2023The Critical Facility Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the uninterrupted operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure and systems within a facility, such as data centers, telecommunications hubs, power plants, and other high-reliability environments. This role focuses on the efficient and reliable operation of mission-critical systems, with an emphasis on preventing, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.RequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field (electrical, mechanical, or similar).Data Center Certification (Operational & Maintenance) from an accredited institute.Strong knowledge of critical facility systems, including power distribution, HVAC, fire suppression, and backup systems.Proficiency in onsite installed control, monitoring software knowledge, data center process and policy, system-wide knowledge.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following safety protocols.Experience in performing preventive maintenance of systems.Previous experience in critical facility operations, data center management, or a similar role is preferred.
