Job Title: Procurement OfficerResponsibilities:Sourcing and Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with vendors.Purchasing and Delivery: Manage the purchasing process for goods and services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.Budget Management: Monitor and manage procurement budgets and expenditures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure that procurement practices comply with legal requirements and organizational policies.Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities.Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support.Reporting: Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance metrics.Risk Management: Identify risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Experience: Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.Skills:o Strong negotiation skills and financial acumen.o Excellent organizational and analytical skills.o Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.o Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) or Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) are a plus.Additional Information:· Work Environment: This may involve working in an office setting, coordinating with suppliers on-site, or attending industry events.Language : English and Arabic Job Type: Full-timePay: ﷼2,000.00 - ﷼3,000.00 per monthLicense/Certification:QID (Preferred)This job has been sourced from an external job board.
