The job posting is outdated and position may be filled One of our leading Food & Beverage industry client in the UAE is looking for an ambitious, creative, passionate and driven Head Chef - Lebanese Cuisine to join their production team who look forward to bring new creation in the kitchen.Responsibilities:Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activitiesConstruct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servingsApprove and polish dishes before they reach the customerPlan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortagesArrange for repairs when necessaryRemedy any problems or defectsBe fully in charge of hiring, managing and training kitchen staffOversee the work of subordinatesEstimate staff s workload and compensationsMaintain records of payroll and attendanceComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standardsFoster a climate of cooperation and respect between coworkersRequirementsProven experience as Head Chef - Lebanese CuisineExceptional proven ability of kitchen managementAbility in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progressOutstanding communication and leadership skillsUp-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processesGood understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)Credentials in health and safety trainingDegree in Culinary science or related certificate would be an advantageProven experience as Head Chef - Lebanese Cuisine Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress Outstanding communication and leadership skills Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS) Credentials in health and safety training Degree in Culinary science or related certificate would be an advantage Disclaimer: Drjobs.ae is only a platform that connects job seekers and employers.
