Linux Administrator

Job Description Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems (RedHat, CentOS, Oracle Linux).
• Manage SAN, NFS, and NAS storage solutions.
• Utilize configuration management tools to automate system tasks and maintain consistency.
• Implement and manage virtualization technologies.
• Install, configure, and manage Oracle databases on Linux servers.
• Develop and maintain Bash scripts for automation and system management.
• Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures, including data recovery.
• Install and configure Zabbix monitoring system to monitor system performance and identify issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Implement security measures to protect the system from cyber threats.
• Create and maintain system documentation.
• Provide technical support for software and application installations and upgrades.
• Stay updated on the latest Linux technologies and best practices.

• 5+ years of experience in Linux environment management and support of vital systems.
• Proven experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux and Oracle Linux.
• Strong knowledge of SAN, NFS, NAS storage solutions.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).
• Proficiency in Bash scripting.
• Experience with configuration management tools.
• Experience with Oracle database administration on Linux servers.
• Knowledge of Zabbix monitoring system or similar tools.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Certifications in Linux administration (e.g., Red Hat Certified System Administrator, Oracle Linux Certified Associate).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
