ENGINEER, PROJECT DEVELOPMENTAbu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates | Posted on 03/13/2019Perform Project Development Activities of Construction Contracts associated with CAPEX items of Clients including preparation of Scope of Work, Bills of Quantities, relevant documents, support & coordinate tendering activities until Project award and handover to Project Execution Department for Execution. Actions include initiation of contract requests / Service Order Requests, carrying out technical clarifications & technical bid evaluations, submitting documents for Management committee approvals & supporting Award recommendation endorsement by Tender Boards.Preparation of Purchase Requisitions for Material procurements, carrying out technical evaluations, tendering coordination until PO Placement & Expedition of Material Deliveries.Perform development of CAPEX proposals & Cost Estimations.Function as Contract Administrator for Frame Level Agreements, FEED Study Contracts.Perform Project Engineer role for in-house FEED / Feasibility studies.Skill setB.E. / B. Sc. / B. Tech. - in Any Engineering Discipline. Seven (7) years in relevant experience, predominantly in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or Fertilizer Industry. Imparts verbal and written messages clearly, knows and applies correct communication procedures accurately and timely while showing tact and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external stakeholders, proficiency in report writing. Proficient knowledge of contracting procedures, DOA, Group Procurement Initiatives and applies procedures and facilities appropriately related to project development & tendering. Good knowledge of relevant Client COPs, Company and international standards and procedures. High degree of computer literacy with thorough experience of MS Office, SAP & project related software.
