JOB PURPOSE : Achieve shift targets for the base plant by completing the routine responsibilities and executing the additional requirements received from the shift supervisor. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: · Conduct routine housekeeping of the assigned area. · Operate plant/equipment as per SOP. · Prepare equipment for maintenance. · Identify issues with plant/equipment and take rectification actions. · Enter data accurately and promptly into the short interval control (SIC) & global plant information (GPI). · Responsible for collection and delivery of process samples for QC laboratory analysis (some analysis need to be conducted in the plant mini lab) · Participate in incident investigations and process hazard analysis. · Prepare routine permits to work for their area. · Follow set procedures in the event of an emergency situation. · Ensure all shift handover requirements are well detailed, easy to understand and ensure continuity of plant/process performance is maintained. Minimum Qualification and Experience: · High School graduate with 2+ years experience in operations. OR · Diploma in Process Operation. Job Specific Skills: · Knowledge of rotating equipment, pneumatic valves, hazardous chemicals etc. · Capable of utilizing IT systems for reporting and data gathering (English based) · Readiness to work in shifts, even to cover extra hours. · Ability to interpret process diagrams and P&IDs. · Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written). · Outward mindset. · Good physical and mental health With approximately 6,500 employees across six continents, our rich diversity, unmatched vertical integration model, and unparalleled operational and technical expertise across the value chain, position Tronox as the preeminent titanium dioxide producer in the world.
