Research and identify new businessopportunities - including growth areas, trends, new customers,partnerships, - or new ways of reaching existingmarketsVisit prospective customer atcommercial, industrial, or other establishments to show samples orcatalogs, and to inform them about product pricing, availability,and advantagesDevelop, present, or respond toproposals for specific customer requirements, including request forproposal responses and/or requirement-specificsolutionsCollaborate with technical teams tounderstand customer requirements, to promote the sale of companyproducts, and to provide sales support, ifnecessaryWork with the customer to establish acommon set of goals and objectives linked to the account plan witha focus on value creation, mutual ownership andexecutionKeep informed on industry news andtrends, products, services, competitors and the latest product-linedevelopments in order to aid customer in their buyingdecisionsNegotiate prices or terms of sales orservice agreements as per set guidelines, and secure the orders orrenew the ordersOpen new customer'saccount fulfilling necessary administrative requirements ofcompanyImprove sales and profitability throughincreased dealer network and/or volume throughput in new orexisting customer baseAdvise dealers anddistributors on policies and operating procedures to ensurefunctional effectiveness of businessInformcustomers of estimated delivery schedules, service contracts,warranties, or other information pertaining to purchasedproductsMonitor and review sales performanceversus the set targets of customer and proactively address problemsin order to ensure consistent targetsachievementProvide sales status reports(daily, weekly, monthly) as may be required by the Sales Manager toensure necessary actions are takenProvidefeedback to Sales Manager on market conditions, competitiveproducts, policies, distribution activities, advertisinginitiatives, etc., that will aid decisions on sales strategies inhis areaAssist credit control team incollection resolving customer disputesComplywith the company QMS requirementsJobRequirements:QualificationsMin.Higher Secondary, DiplomaBachelor degree wouldbe preferable INT
