As aJoinery Estimator you will play a crucial role in ensuring thesuccess of our projects by providing accurate and detailedestimates for joinery and woodworking services. You will workclosely with our sales design and production teams to assessproject requirements analyze costs and prepare comprehensiveestimates that align with our quality standards and clientexpectations.KeyResponsibilitiesProjectEvaluation: Assess project specifications drawings and otherdocumentation to understand the scope ofwork.Materialand Labor Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of materials laborcosts and other relevant factors to determine accurate projectestimates.CostEstimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates including materialslabor equipment and overhead ensuring competitiveness andprofitability.Collaboration:Work closely with the sales design and production teams to gathernecessary information and insights for accurateestimating.BidPreparation: Prepare and submit wellorganized and competitive bidsin a timely manner meeting projectdeadlines.VendorRelations: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers andsubcontractors to obtain the best pricing andavailability.ValueEngineering: Collaborate with the design and production teams tosuggest costeffective alternatives without compromisingquality.Documentation:Maintain organized records of estimates bids and projectdocumentation.RequirementsExperience:Proven experience as a Joinery Estimator or in a similar rolewithin the joinery or woodworkingindustry.TechnicalSkills: Proficient in estimating software and tools. Strongknowledge of joinery materials processes and constructionmethods.CommunicationSkills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with theability to effectively communicate complexinformation.AnalyticalSkills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attentiontodetail.TeamPlayer: Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctionalteams.TimeManagement: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities andmeetdeadlines.Qualifications: As a Joinery Estimator, you will play a crucialrole in ensuring the success of our projects by providing accurateand detailed estimates for joinery and woodworking services. Bid Preparation: Prepare and submitwell-organized and competitive bids in a timely manner, meetingproject deadlines. Vendor Relations: Establish and maintainrelationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the bestpricing and availability. Value Engineering: Collaborate with thedesign and production teams to suggest cost-effective alternativeswithout compromising quality.
