Primary Role FocusAccountable for supporting the sales force with marketing new products and services, providing and coordinating products seminars, and offering technical support to the customers.Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesDevelop a good understanding of field operations and requirements, particularly the completion challengesPresent added value solutions to customer, while highlighting technology differentiatorsMeet assigned sales revenue targets by identifying opportunities for Packers Plus Open Hole, cemented Completions and other applicable products offeredTrack and monitor completion opportunities while maintaining current knowledge of pricing and technology trends, job performance and key management changesIdentify new technology opportunities, backed up with strong business casesIntroduce new technologies and follow up with the prospective end users to ensure NT's are evaluatedDeliver a convincing brand promise based on customer type and sales opportunities presentedQualify, Prioritize and close sales opportunitiesIndependently host technical presentations with support from The Technical Sales LeadCoordinate technical workshops with various customer assetsSupport management in setting market strategies and plans for assigned accountsDevelop and submit proposals against RFQ's or client defined procurement requirementsDevelop and maintain mutually productive relationships with prospective and existing end usersSupport Technical Services and Operations for CWOP and FWOP meetingsComplete EOWRs and ensure lessons learned are captured and applied in the next wellEnsure all client's task teams are being briefed before every job and checklists for operations requirementsare completed ahead of timeAddress any complaints and resolve any problems in a prompt, professional mannerRegularly track and evaluate leads in CRM and document opportunities for sales pipelineCoordinate with the Operations Manager and operations team to monitor customer service quality standardsSubmit budget & sales revenue forecasts, when requested by regional management teamAssist in planning conference & exhibition events (MEOS, ATSE, etc)Actively participate in all Packers Plus Safety Health & Environment initiatives (safety meetings, safety audits, etc)Position RequirementsExperience and SkillsExperience in applications engineering for completions tools an assetICD/Sand controlMulti-stage toolsOpen or Cased hole completion systems or other downhole toolsStrong communicational, negotiation and commercial skills5+ years' experience in completions technologies2+ years in technical sales position, with a proven sales track recordExcellent technical skills and problem-solving abilities to address client challengesEducation and TrainingBachelor's degree or equivalentPhysical and Safety RequirementsSignificant use of computer monitor, keyboard and mouseSit at a desk for extended periodsValid GCC Driving licenseOperational excellenceResults DrivenSelf-Motivated with positive attitudeActive team playerSelf-motivated with ability to work effectively with minimum directionTechnical Presentation skillsWell-developed interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders
