Our client is looking to hire an Analyst Programmer to join their operation on a permanent basis.You will be responsible for applying technology solutions to business problems using the functional design specifications and technical specification documents. You will be responsible for application and interface programming including DBMS coding. You will also low-level program, develop test plans and scripts as well as generate test data and unit testing.You will advise the Project Manager of the change impact of new development projects and software package installations in a timely manner. You will code new applications and include appropriate error handlers, abnormal exits and others to meet core requirements. You will ensure that a unit test environment is available for any destructive testing and individual unit testing will not impact on other team members work and inform development Team members if so. You should have the ability to decompose software application systems and develop functional decomposition diagrams. It is desirable you have extensive experience of solid analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to find innovative approaches to address issues or requirements.
