Job Opportunity: Aluminum Facade Designer & Estimator
Are you a skilled Aluminum Facade Designer & Estimator passionate about aluminum/steel facade systems? Do you excel in a collaborative environment where your expertise makes a significant impact? If yes, join us as a Aluminum Facade Designer & Estimator. In this role, you'll bring design concepts to life through precise drawings and project estimations.
Key Responsibilities:
8 years experience in Facade Designing and Estimation in Aluminum
Create detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for aluminum facade systems.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to translate design concepts into accurate drafts.
Utilize your expertise in aluminum systems to recommend suitable materials and techniques for each project.
Estimate project costs by analyzing materials, labor, and other factors, ensuring accurate budgeting.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to facades and aluminum construction.
Participate in site visits and meetings to gather essential information for drafting and estimating.
Review and revise drafts as needed, ensuring compliance with project requirements and specifications.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) for creating precise technical drawings.
Extensive experience working with aluminum facade systems and a solid understanding of their properties and applications such as UCW, CW, Skylights, Windows and Doors.
Strong estimation skills to accurately assess project costs and provide budget insights.
Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional attention to accuracy.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly.
Problem-solving abilities to identify and address design or estimation challenges.
Previous experience in facade construction projects is preferred but not mandatory.
