Responsibilities:Procurement Management:Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best terms and conditions.Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and contracts.Inventory Management:Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent stockouts or overstocking.Optimize inventory turnover and minimize carrying costs.Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and ensure accuracy.Planning and Forecasting:Collaborate with internal departments to understand their needs and develop procurement plans accordingly.Analyze market trends and industry developments to anticipate future demand and pricing fluctuations.Prepare forecasts and budgets for procurement activities based on business goals and objectives.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the procurement process.Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, such as supply chain disruptions or supplier failures.Conduct due diligence on suppliers to evaluate their reliability and credibility.Supplier Relationship Management:Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and resolve issues promptly.Monitor supplier performance and conduct periodic evaluations to assess quality, delivery, and service levels.Identify opportunities for supplier improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related roles. Retail background is a plus.Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiation.Proficiency in using procurement software and tools for data analysis and reporting, good knowledge of SAAB program.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships and negotiating with suppliers.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing procurement practices (e.g., public procurement laws, ethical standards).Skills:Strategic thinking and analytical skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Critical thinking and decision-making abilities.Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Organizational and time management skills.Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities.Very good English.Teamwork and collaboration.
