WATER TREATMENT OPERATOR I

SummaryOperates, monitors and maintains water treatment plants, de-ionized and reverse osmosis water systems, auxiliary facilities and buried water network systems.Essential Responsibilities and Duties1. Operates water and waste water treatment equipment. Controls flow and processing of water, waste water, reverse osmosis and de-ionized water systems and buried water network systems.2. Monitors control panels and adjust valves manually of by remote control to regulate its flow. Observes variation of operating equipment and systems. Interprets meter, gauge readings and test results to determine load requirements of all water and waste water systems.3. Starts and stops pumps to control and maintain water flow.4. Collects water samples on all circulating and reticulating systems and other utility systems.5. Identifies malfunctioning equipment. Notifies appropriate individuals for repair. Performs preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.6. Maintains necessary records and log sheets showing operating data on equipment and plant systems.7. Follows all prescribed safety procedures.8. Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.9. Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable.EducationBS Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.ORTechnical Diploma in related fields is required.Experience RequiredNo experience required with the BS Degree.ORThree (3) years of experience is required with the Technical Diploma.Other Requirements(Certificates)Saud driver's license - A driver's license from country of origin is necessary to obtain a Saudi driver's license.
