Furthermore, overall responsibilities wouldinclude introduction of new NDT process or technique, conductingtraining and examination of NDT personnel, NDT process Improvement,auditing of NDT processes and suppliers, be focal point for issuesand audits by external /internal agencies. Accountabilities 1.Ensuring that the job is completed in accordance with the client& class requirements. 2. Develop and approve NDTprocedures, plan, written practices, and NDT techniques. 3.Interpret codes, standards, specifications, and Customerrequirements related to NDT inspection to meet project compliance.4. Manage the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) program in the yard, toensure that NDT Supervisors/Technician evaluate the quality ofmaterial, components, and systems correctly. 5. Ensuring timelyreview and errorless reports submission. 6. Train and mentor LevelII Supervisors / Technicians in current methods and new technology.7. Perform site assessments and NDT audits. 8. Monitor and reportthe repair rate for each project. 9. Liaise with project team toreview the requirements in the project and to prepare theprocedures. 10. Ensure any discrepancies observed are recorded andreported to the project team. 11. Ensure that any requiredcorrective action is taken to enable business continuity. 12.Monitor and maintain the work quality standards and help ensurethat the successful coordination and satisfaction of clientinspections. 13. Ensure storage and handling of NDTequipment's is per manufacturer's recommendations/ specifications. 14. Ensure all documents, process and systems aregeared towards the execution of safe, quality, and efficientproductivity and in compliance with best practice, regulatory andcertification standards. 15. Assist QSA management to prepare andachieve the section goal as per the plan, by monitoring &acting in accordance with the project KPI's to enableachievement of the targets. 16. Participate in & leadsection initiatives such as Quality Alerts, walkthrough, technicaleducation etc. 17. Ensuring that all work under his/her control iscarried out in accordance with Company HSE Management System. Whichincludes: • Following their supervision instructions andactive participation in the HSE improvement initiatives •Learning and following the operational and safety proceduresrelevant to their job • Using the protective clothing andequipment provided and ensuring it is well maintained. •Reporting any hazardous or unsafe conditions to their supervision• Maintaining their tools and equipment in a safecondition and reporting any defects to their supervision •Reporting any accidents, incidents and near misses promptly totheir supervision. 18. Taking care of the safety, health andwellbeing of oneself and others who may be impacted by your actionand the process. 19. Employee should prioritize the wellbeing ofthemselves and their colleagues while maintaining a safe andhealthy work environment. 20.
