Devise and use fruitful sourcingstrategies Discover profitable suppliers andinitiate business and organization partnerships.Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageousterms. Approve the ordering of necessary goodsand services. Finalize purchase details oforders and deliveries. Examine and test existingcontracts. Track and report key functionalmetrics to reduce expenses and improveeffectiveness. Collaborate with key people toensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of thecompany. Foresee alterations in the comparativenegotiating ability of suppliers and clients.Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and preparecontrol strategies. Perform risk management forsupply contracts and agreements. Control spendand build a culture of longterm saving on procurementcosts. Proven working experience as aProcurement Manager Procurement Officer or Head ofProcurement Knowledge of sourcing andprocurement techniques as well as a dexterity in reading themarket Talent in negotiations andnetworking Good knowledge of supplier orthirdparty management software Aptitude indecisionmaking and working with numbers.Experience in collecting and analyzing data.Strong leadership capabilitiesThisjob has been sourced from an external job board.More jobson
