Demonstrate knowledge andapplication of the employers mission, vision andvaluesAssist the supervisor and the medicalphysicist in his/her regular monitoring of equipment to ensurecorrect and consistent results of outputs are achieved, and tocover any duties when requestedAdvising thetechnical staff on new equipment and protection protocols undersupervision of the supervisor and the medicalphysicist.Record all the parameters of theradiation generating equipment's for testing andmaintenance.Applying all regular checking forthe protective equipment.Assist the supervisoras a radiation safety officer in nuclearmedicine.Report the results of the checking tothe supervisor and the medicalphysicist.Acting as on-call duty physicist torespond to problems, provide advice and technicalassistance.Rotating in various departments toassist and observe radiation activities.Applythe calibration for the radiation detection devices undersupervision of the supervisor and the medicalphysicist.Distribute the personal dosimetersfor radiation workers and collect this dosimeters by the end of themonitoring period.Complies with policies andprocedures and in particular infection control, safety and qualityManagement.Performs other duties asrequested.
