As discipline engineer responsiblefor provision of the required quality technicalservices.Carry-out Concept definition andengineering studies, design, scopes and preparation of engineeringdocuments as per approved standards /procedures.Verify and sign-off technicaldesigns and bids in accordance with approvedstandards.Deliver timely service to meet theproject requirements.YourTasksAdvice and support in the disciplineengineering matters in the area of expertise through all stages ofprojects.Plan and co-ordinate activities of ateam of engineers for providing technical services to projectexecuting departments, including review of executionstrategies.Support discipline head/lead tomanage discipline standards. Participate in technical assurance andstandardization activities to ensure compliance to approveddiscipline standards.Approve / endorsetechnical deviations / waivers/ variations to approved guidelines,codes, standards and practices.Support toensure that all applicable environmental and process and othersafety technical policies are fullyimplemented.Support development ofcompetencies and skills in his area including structured trainingfor Qatari Engineers underdevelopment.
