The Finance Expert is accountable for accurate reporting of financial results and managing the company’s financial affairs in Qatar

We need exceptional talent to help us on this journey. The Finance Team Our finance team ensures we are a lean, mean (not too mean) operating machine. Plus, someone has to pay the piper, right? As a Tapster you will:- Ensure that all financials submitted to the relevant authorities are accurate and complete
- Ensure compliance with local accounting and tax regulations
- Respond to all requests and inquiries received by external auditors, Central Bank and Financial Authority
- Provide proper and accurate reporting to the HQ
- Be a cost controller, enhancing cost optimization efforts within your country
- Enhance internal controls and processes in your country
- Partner with department leaders in your country, to align business/financial needs with company goals
- Coordinate with the Group FinOps Manager on all Financial Operations related matters in your country
- Collaborate with the Managing Director to drive financial business partnering initiatives, focusing on growth, margin enhancement, acquisition cost optimization, and identifying areas for improvement
- Offer financial insights for strategic decision-making
- Stay current with evolving financial regulations and the most recent best practices
- Carry out other duties, as assigned based on the demands of the business and growth of the role.
- 4-6 years of role-specific experience and a master of your craft, you've begun to make a name for yourself as an industry or function leader
- An in-depth understanding of PayTech
- Preferred degree, but real-world experience is also accepted
- Ability to develop and strengthen client/merchant/stakeholder relationships
- Customer-first approach and persistence for excellence
- Humility and hands-on leadership style
- Anticipates problems and creates solutions
- Quick thinking in solving complex challenges
- Ability to guide team discussions effectively
- Outstanding communication skills in English, with a preference for Arabic language ability
