Assistant Manager Internal Audit

Hays is currently working with one of the leading construction entities as they are looking for an Assistant Manager Internal Audit to join their Dubai office. The role involves assisting in the development of the organization's yearly audit plan and conducting audits on construction projects and organizational processes. This includes preparing workpapers and audit reports. The individual will also support the Group Head of Internal Audit (GHIA) in managing both internal and external audit service providers, reviewing their workpapers and audit reports. They will conduct close-out meetings to discuss audit findings and ensure corrective actions are taken through follow-up reviews. Additionally, the role includes performing risk assessments for assigned areas within the organization and carrying out ad-hoc reviews while assisting GHIA in investigations as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering
- CIA/CA is preferred
- Experience in Construction or Property Development
- Must have experience in UAE
- 4+ years in internal audit
