Job Description

Corporate Identity
Web Graphics
User Interface & Front End Design
Web Branding
Print Design & Layout
Advertising
Website Template creation in Photoshop
PSD to HTML Template conversion
Responsible for the design, layout, and coding of a new website for the company
Write the programming code, either from scratch or by adapting existing website software and graphics packages to meet business requirements
Test the website and identify any technical problems
Upload the site onto a server and register it with different search engines
Creation of site layout/user interface from provided design concepts by using standard HTML/CSS practices
Placement and layout of web site pages given company’s provided content
Development of robust and user-friendly .NET-based web applications
Design and creation of relational database schemas
SQL Server T-SQL development
Application/Framework design as needed
Specifications/Requirements gathering as needed
Routine daily maintenance of existing & new site and applications
To be responsible for the technical and graphical aspects of a website - how the site works and how it looks
To be responsible for the maintenance and update of an existing site until migrating to the new website
To ensure that the design and pattern of the developed website is per the requirements of the company; in terms of graphics, effects, animations, functionality, and features
To ensure the ranking of the website, which can be improved with a process known as Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
To maintain the quality of websites and add to it for making it more informative
After the website is developed, to keep a detailed record of its technical performance and functioning with the web server

Skills

Well versed in different computer languages and applications that are required in website designing and development, including HTML, XML, Java, C++, C#, Perl, VBScript, PHP, JavaScript, DOM, CSS, Visual Basic .NET, Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, Paint Shop Pro, etc.
2+ years of rapid web development, using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ASP.Net, C#, and T-SQL preferred
Proven .NET experience and a solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming
A solid understanding of web application development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures
Understanding the benefits of SEO and the development skills to support SEO are a plus
Strong communication and writing skills
Ability to grow professionally in a highly flexible and fast-moving environment
Creativity and imagination
Adaptable and able to pick up new techniques
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Keep up to date with advances in computer technology and how this affects the business environment
