Job Description Reporting directly to the Conference & Events Manager, your strong administration skills and precise eye for detail will assist in the smooth running of our Conference and Events department. What you'll be doing:
- Assist in the preparation and follow-up of conference proposals
- Assist with the formulation of quotations for conference proposals covering venue, function, menu, and accommodation costs
- Type correspondence and accurate Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s)
- Collaborate with multiple hotel departments to ensure the smooth running of daily operations
- Previous knowledge of function and/or events sales, ideally within the hospitality industry beneficial
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and organise workflow
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye and attention to detail
- Great problem-solving & time management skills
- A friendly, energetic personality with an ability to build rapport easily
