Job Description Manage the development and implementation of Project HSE Management System including the HSE action monitoring system and incident reporting procedure, in compliance with internal management system and any Client specified requirements. Provide advice and support to the Project Director/ Manager on the processes and procedures required to deliver HSE objectives. Responsibilities

  1. Provide the best practice HSE solution on day-to-day monitoring and reporting to maintain Project Owner standards.
  2. Represent Project Owner to explain HSE construction implementation activities to client candidates.
  3. Monitor and review the implementation of HSE standards at the construction site.
  4. Ensure project meetings start with a Health & Safety moment initiated through our dedicated Health, Safety, Wellbeing App.
  5. Ensure all contractors and vendors on site have a requisite level of compliant safety training resulting in them having a high degree of hazard awareness.
  6. Adopt a collaborative approach to health and safety across the entire project team promoting safety accountability at all levels, including from the client.
  7. Set a zero-tolerance health and safety culture.
  8. Adopt health and safety assurance processes emphasizing leading indicators, which are effective in developing mitigations to risks on the project site.
  9. Proactively undertake site supervision of works activities to address safety concerns or identified risk activities.
Qualifications
  1. Degree qualifications in HSE, civil engineering, electrical / mechanical engineering or similar function.
  2. Minimum 10 years experience on Real Estate or Construction Management projects.
  3. NEBOSH Diploma / NVQ Level 5 or equivalent.
  4. CMIOSH / MIIRSM or equivalent.
  5. Experience and knowledge of all of the main HSE project management concepts, tools and techniques.
  6. Ability to coordinate with the concurrent base building works.
  7. Conversant to a competent level with Microsoft Office (incl MS-Project Management).
  8. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, to meet often tight deadlines, and to work pro-actively as part of a committed team.
  9. Demonstrate a proficient level of professional skill and/or knowledge in project management and keep current with developments and trends. Knowledge and ability to use applicable information technology and systems to meet work needs.
