About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for an Intern - Communication and Public Relation to join Jumeirah Group & Corporate. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Assisting in managing and updating various social media accounts for consistent engagement.
- Collaborating on scheduling and reviewing social media posts using tools like Airtable.
- Contributing creatively to the generation of captivating content across multiple platforms.
- Assisting in event planning and execution, including press conferences, product launches, and media briefings.
- Drafting internal communication materials, including Mercury news posts, "In the Spotlight" features, "Learning from Leaders" content, and DH Newsletters.
- Offering support in planning and managing roadshows and media familiarization trips, including preparing comprehensive itineraries.
- Participating in creating presentations for hotel owners or stakeholders as needed for ad hoc requests.
- Initiating purchase requisitions for stationery supplies and other agency-related needs.
- Managing the arrangement and preparation of ENT (Entertainment) bookings.
- Performing miscellaneous administrative tasks, including data entry, contact updates, stationery supply monitoring, and PR agency report compilation.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with social media management tools.
- Creativity and content creation skills.
- Ability to generate reports and dashboards.
- Proficient in English (Read/Write/Speak – Essential), knowledge of additional language (Desired).
