Responsibilities:

• Website Development: Design, code, and modify websites, from layout to functionality, based on project requirements.
• Maintenance & Updates: Regularly update and maintain websites to ensure functionality, security, and responsiveness.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to translate concepts into functional and visually appealing websites.
• Testing: Conduct website performance and usability testing, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions.
• SEO & Accessibility: Optimize websites for SEO and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code and website configurations.
• Integration: Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and plugins as required.

Requirements:

• Open to learning and collaborating with team members
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Familiarity with website building platforms: Wix, WordPress (open-source), Drupal (open-source), or Joomla (open-source).
• Experience with database management: MySQL (open-source), PostgreSQL (open-source), or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of version control tools: Git (open-source).

Time commitment:

• Flexible - there is the option for this role to be done from home.
