Organisation: The Refugee Orientation Centre Trust Category: IT Hours: Both/FlexibleResponsibilities:
- Website Development: Design, code, and modify websites, from layout to functionality, based on project requirements.
- Maintenance & Updates: Regularly update and maintain websites to ensure functionality, security, and responsiveness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to translate concepts into functional and visually appealing websites.
- Testing: Conduct website performance and usability testing, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions.
- SEO & Accessibility: Optimize websites for SEO and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code and website configurations.
- Integration: Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and plugins as required.
Requirements:
- Open to learning and collaborating with team members
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Familiarity with website building platforms: Wix, WordPress (open-source), Drupal (open-source), or Joomla (open-source).
- Experience with database management: MySQL (open-source), PostgreSQL (open-source), or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of version control tools: Git (open-source).
