PRIMARY MUSIC TEACHER NEEDED IN QATAR - AUGUST 202540% KG / Year 1 Performing Art / G2-5 60% Music Age Group: Primary School - Lower & Upper Qualification: Bachelor degree in Performing Arts - Music or equivalent with qualified teacher status Preferred Experience: At least 2 years in IB PYP but other backgrounds may be considered for strong candidates Package: Monthly tax free from about QR10000 to about QR15000 plus free single occupancy apartment (not shared) and free flights, utility allowance, medical insurance and more. This is a family-friendly school offering a 75% discount on tuition fees for up to 2 children; flights and medical insurance are free for all dependents. In order to fill this role effectively, the successful candidate will need to have a diverse range of qualities, competencies and experience. An IB teacher should be an adaptable and inspiring educator, with the ability to deliver a coherent, integrated, broad, inquiry-based programme. He/she should be an outstanding teacher, learner, motivator and communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills, and should be capable of preparing students for international programmes in a stimulating, challenging and well-organised learning environment. He/She should be able to provide professional expertise, high-quality teaching and learning, make effective use of resources and ensure improved standards of learning and achievement for all students. Applicants are preferred to offer IB experience, although not essential, and must be willing to work in a learning environment which is both multicultural and international.
