Job Description
The Director of Engineering is a senior leadership position responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Engineering Department at Grand Hyatt Kuwait. This involves guaranteeing the optimal maintenance of equipment, buildings, and hotel grounds.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Engineering Department to ensure seamless support for all operating verticals.
- Maintain equipment and facilities to prevent downtime and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs within the department.
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians to achieve exceptional results in luxury hotel operations.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in a 5-star luxury hotel.
- Strong technical background with a proven track record in luxury operations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in fast-paced environments.
- Relentless passion for training and hands-on operational work.
- Good problem-solving and administrative skills.
- Arabic speaker preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sound pre-opening experience in large hotel operations.
