About Us The American Center for Technology and Languages is a leading educational institution committed to equipping students with essential skills in technology and languages. We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Computer Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in programming, web development, design courses, and teaching fundamental computer skills. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive lessons in common programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Teach web development fundamentals .
- Conduct design software training in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Teach basic computer skills , including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to different skill levels and learning objectives.
- Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, projects, and evaluations.
- Maintain an interactive and supportive learning environment to ensure student success.
- Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and incorporate them into teaching practices.
- Provide guidance and support to students for projects and practical applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification in programming, web development, or design software (preferred).
- Proven teaching experience in computer-related courses (minimum of 2 years preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common programming languages.
- Expertise in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and adapt to diverse student learning styles.
- Passion for teaching and fostering a positive educational environment.
