Head of Quality Governance and Standards Date: 10 Jan 2025 Company: EDGE Group PJSC
Join Us as Head of Governance & Standards (G&S)
Lead the enhancement of our Integrated Management Systems (IMS) by collaborating with regulators, certification bodies, and internal teams to ensure compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. This strategic role drives risk reduction and process efficiency across the business.Key Accountabilities
- Governance & Standards : Establish and maintain policies to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and safety requirements.
- Leadership & Team Development : Inspire and manage Governance & Standards teams, promoting core company values.
- Safety Culture : Foster a safety-first mindset across the business.
- Continuous Improvement : Lead cross-entity initiatives for process standardization and innovation.
- Risk Management : Ensure certifications and approvals remain valid through proactive risk management.
- Team Development : Identify skills gaps and enhance team performance through training.
- Audit Program : Oversee the integrated audit program to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Performance Measurement : Collaborate with stakeholders to track and improve process indicators.
- Representation : Act as senior management representative for escalated governance and standards concerns.
Requirements

- Minimum: 12+ years in quality management, including 7 years leading quality teams in complex systems engineering programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant vocational qualification.
- CQI ‘Practitioner’ grade or above, ISO9001 Lead Auditor certification.
- Preferred: 8+ years of defense industry experience, Master’s degree in Quality, multiple lead auditor certifications (e.g., AS9100/ISO9001).
