Job Title: Global Product Owner CryptocurrencyLocation: Dubai, United Arab EmiratesJob Purpose:They are seeking an experienced Global Product Owner of Cryptocurrency to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of cryptocurrency-related products and services, ensuring that they align with the bank's strategic goals and customer needs. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions in the cryptocurrency space.Key Responsibilities:Product Vision and Strategy:Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the bank's cryptocurrency offerings.Align product development with the organization's strategic objectives, market trends, and customer needs.Backlog Management:Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it reflects stakeholder input and business objectives.Collaborate with Scrum Masters and development teams to ensure that the backlog is effectively managed and delivered.Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, technology teams, compliance, and risk management, to gather requirements and provide updates on product development.Engage with customers and partners to understand their needs and feedback to inform product iterations.Agile Product Development:Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.Provide guidance to development teams, ensuring clarity of product requirements and goals.Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure that cryptocurrency products meet regulatory requirements.Identify and mitigate risks associated with cryptocurrency products.Market Research and Competitive Analysis:Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the cryptocurrency space.Analyze market data to inform product strategy and identify new opportunities.Product Launch and Go-to-Market Strategy:Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new cryptocurrency products and features.Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to drive product adoption and customer engagement.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.Agile certification (e.g., CSPO, PSM, or equivalent) is a plus.A minimum of 8 years of experience in product ownership, with at least 2 years with a focus on cryptocurrency.Strong experience working in an Agile environment.Strong understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and digital assets.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience in banking or financial services is highly desirable.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the cryptocurrency space.
