BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company's policies and visionOversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operationsSetup layout and ensure efficient space utilizationInitiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and proceduresAdhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirementsMaintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and securityManage stock control and reconcile with data storage systemPrepare annual budgetLiaise with clients, suppliers and transport companiesPlan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise resultsRecruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employeesJob SpecificationRequirements and skills8+ years work experience as a Warehouse ManagerExpertise in warehouse management procedures and best practicesProven ability to implement process improvement initiativesStrong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databasesMicrosoft dynamics software experience is preferableLeadership skills and ability manage staffStrong decision making and problem solving skillsBS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
