About The Role The Director of Finance at Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya is a key position that requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the hotel's financial operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the hotel's profitability, providing accurate financial information, and adhering to local and corporate policies. Responsibilities

• Safeguard the hotel's assets and financial resources to maximize profitability.
• Assist the General Manager in establishing and enhancing policies, rules, internal controls, and safeguards.
• Deliver exceptional financial reporting, analysis, and business management services with integrity and accuracy.
• Maintain bank accounts with reputable banks and utilize local rating services for verification of financial strength.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports in established corporate formats.
• Ensure compliance with loan covenants, maintain insurance policies, and fund capital reserves as required.
• Achieve successful audit scores and manage labor costs effectively.
• Prepare forecasts and budgets as needed by the corporate office or management agreements.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience in a related position.
• Excellent English language skills; Arabic is an added advantage.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting jobs and principles.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain high professional integrity.
• Commitment to follow all local and corporate policies and procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.

Salary : Estimated salary range $80,000 - $120,000 per year depending on experience.
