Roles and Responsibilities
1. Beauty and Skincare Knowledge- Skin Analysis : The ability to assess skin types and conditions, recommending appropriate treatments and products.
- Facial Treatments : Knowledge of facial therapies such as exfoliation, masks, anti-aging treatments, and acne treatments.
- Body Treatments : Expertise in body therapies such as wraps, scrubs, and massages designed to improve skin texture and tone.
- Hair Removal Techniques : Proficiency in various hair removal methods, including waxing, threading, and sugaring.
- Nail Care : Expertise in manicures, pedicures, and nail art, as well as knowledge of the proper use of tools and nail care products.
- Therapeutic Massage : Ability to perform various types of massages, such as Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, and hot stone massages.
- Muscle Relaxation : Understanding of how to relieve tension and stress through different massage techniques and pressure application.
- Client Comfort : Creating a comfortable and relaxing environment for clients during treatment sessions.
- Makeup Skills : Expertise in applying makeup for different occasions, including bridal, evening, and special events.
- Color Theory : Knowledge of how to match colors for makeup based on clients’ skin tone, eye color, and facial features.
- Product Knowledge : Understanding of cosmetic products, including foundation, concealer, blush, eyeshadow, and lipstick, and their application techniques.
- Sanitation : Ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized between clients to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Product Knowledge : Understanding the ingredients of products used in treatments and identifying any potential allergies or sensitivities.
- Health and Safety Regulations : Adhering to health and safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination or injury.
- Client Consultation : Conducting thorough consultations to understand clients’ needs, preferences, and medical history.
- Empathy and Listening Skills : Ensuring clients feel heard and understood, making them feel comfortable during treatments.
- Personalized Service : Offering tailored beauty solutions to meet individual client needs and providing expert advice on skincare and homecare routines.
- Efficient Treatment Scheduling : Managing appointments effectively to ensure that treatments are completed on time without rushing.

- Appointment Bookings : Ensuring clients’ appointments are booked and managed properly, minimizing any scheduling conflicts.
- Retail Sales : Ability to recommend and sell beauty products such as skincare items, cosmetics, and hair care products to clients.

- Upselling : Suggesting complementary treatments or services to clients based on their needs and interests.
- Perform Beauty Treatments : Providing a range of beauty services such as facials, waxing, massages, and manicures/pedicures.
- Client Consultations : Conducting consultations with clients to assess their needs, preferences, and any contraindications before starting treatments.
- Advising Clients : Recommending skincare routines, products, and treatments that best suit clients' skin types and conditions.
- Maintaining Hygiene : Ensuring that all tools, equipment, and workspaces are kept clean and sanitized to meet health and safety standards.
- Customer Care : Creating a relaxing, comfortable environment for clients, ensuring that they are satisfied with the treatments provided.
- Managing Appointments : Scheduling appointments, confirming bookings, and managing any changes to clients' treatment schedules.
- Product Sales : Recommending and selling beauty products to clients for use at home, ensuring they receive the right products for their skincare needs.
- Staying Updated on Trends : Keeping up-to-date with the latest beauty and skincare trends, products, and treatment techniques.
- Client Aftercare : Providing advice on aftercare following treatments and recommending products to maintain results.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Greet and serve all customers, demonstrating excellent customer service as per brand standards.
- Deal effectively with customer concerns and ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Achieve sales targets in line with Company guidelines.
- Identify customer needs by asking open-ended questions, using product knowledge to make recommendations, taking opportunities to suggest add-on sales appropriately.
- Ensure awareness and understanding of product range knowledge, and in-store promotion details, sharing the information with customers to encourage sales.
- Responsible for opening, closing, and operating the cash registers at the start or end of the business trading day; perform tasks including but not limited to receiving payments in all authorized modes, issuing receipts/bills against payments.
- Ensure store opening checklists are completed in a timely manner, with responsibility for all stock availability, records of the same, and timely replenishment.
- Contribute and support the business in achieving the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy.
- High School Certificate.
- Minimum 1-2 years industry experience.
- Customer service skills.
