ABOUT THE FUNCTION

This Engineering function is responsible for maintenance and planning across the hotel to ensure full availability and serviceability of hotel facilities and to minimize disruption for guests. It is responsible for overseeing all repair work, preventative maintenance, and reconstruction work to ensure completion to standard, as well as ensuring functional emergency recovery plans.

This function is to ensure efficient management of Receiving sections and Inventory Control of F&B Storerooms to ensure the highest standards of service in accordance with the operating procedures and standards. Ensure that each guest becomes a happy fan of our brand by delighting them from welcome until farewell. To handle all Room Reservations inquiries pertaining to rates/packages/promotions through the telephone, fax, email & internet in a timely manner and as per the set standards in line with the department mission of maximization of customer satisfaction and revenue generation for the department and company. This function is to maintain the established standards of cleanliness in rooms and public areas according to standards set by the hotel and ensure orderliness and attractive condition of rooms, floors, lift landings, corridors, and pantries. Under the direct supervision of the department management, the role assists in planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all housekeeping activities, maintaining the established standards of cleanliness, orderliness, and attractive condition of rooms, floors, and pantries. This function is responsible for the FF&E and OS&E procurement activities for the business from planning stage to implementing the operations. Interact internally with Finance, Hospitality, and Development Team as well as externally with the Suppliers. Implement and incorporate areas for improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the work environment of current and new developments. The People & Performance department is responsible for managing human resources, talent development, and performance evaluation within the organization. Their role includes recruiting, training, and retaining top talent, as well as implementing strategies to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction. This department plays a crucial role in aligning people and business objectives to achieve organizational success.

Job Description

• Minimum of a high school diploma in Catering / College degree in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position in a 5-star hospitality company.
• Good knowledge of local food hygiene and HACCP guidelines.
• Conduct all operational tasks in F&B Production in line with required service standards and procedures.
• Go the extra (s)mile where you can.
• Prevent complaints and ensure adequate service recovery where needed.
