As a Senior AV Technical Lead, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class events at the client pavilion, a multi-purpose event space featuring conference venues, meeting rooms, and unique presentation spaces. This hands-on role focuses on setting up, operating, and troubleshooting a range of AV and lighting systems, ensuring seamless event execution. You’ll be the go-to person for managing speaker slides, coordinating show controls, and supporting a wide variety of event formats within this innovative venue. Job Description: Technical Operations and Content Management

  • Operate and manage audio, visual, and lighting systems, with a solid understanding of D3 and QLab platforms for content playback, ensuring high-quality delivery across various events and setups.
  • Take ownership of speaker slide management and event show controls , ensuring smooth transitions and precise timing throughout each event.
  • Support real-time troubleshooting and adjustments during events to maintain seamless operations and address any technical issues as they arise.
Event Support and Process Improvement
  • Act as the primary AV operator for live events, collaborating closely with event managers, stage managers, and production teams to set up, operate, and tear down equipment.
  • Develop and refine procedures for event operations, creating best practices for technical support and streamlining workflows to improve efficiency across the events team.
  • Provide training and support to new team members, sharing technical expertise to ensure a high standard of event delivery.
Collaboration and Innovation
  • Work alongside Pavilion staff and other team members to create a collaborative and client-focused environment, supporting technical needs for diverse events ranging from corporate presentations to dynamic live performances.
  • Encourage a learning-focused culture, staying up-to-date on new technologies and being open to developing skills with innovative event technology solutions.
Safety and Compliance
  • Ensure all technical operations align with health, safety, and security standards, with an emphasis on safe handling and storage of AV equipment and materials.
  • Adhere to Client's Pavilion’s safety protocols and event guidelines, actively contributing to a safe environment for staff, clients, and guests.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience : Minimum 3+ years in live event production with a comprehensive understanding of AV, lighting, and show control systems. Preferred background in theater, live events, or corporate AV.
  • Skills : Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting AV equipment, including familiarity with D3 and QLab for content management; strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge : Solid grasp of audio, visual, and lighting technologies, including equipment setup and operation for various event formats.
  • Attitude : Eager to learn and adaptable, with a collaborative and client-focused mindset that aligns with high-profile event delivery.
