About the Job Yas Plaza Hotels is seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager - Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of a large multi-complex hotel, ensuring that the highest levels of service are maintained. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the General Manager will be responsible for providing leadership to all operational departments across six hotels, driving operational excellence and strategic alignment, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. In this key role, you will be accountable for optimizing operational efficiencies, driving revenue performance, and maintaining the hotel’s reputation for excellence in service. Your focus will be on ensuring all operational processes are streamlined, staff are empowered to provide superior service, and that the hotel’s performance surpasses the expectations of both guests and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, and Guest Services, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction are met.
Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance guest experiences while maximizing profitability.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by setting clear operational goals, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring the alignment of team performance with business objectives.
Oversee the implementation of health, safety, and sustainability standards, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Collaborate with senior leadership to establish revenue and cost management strategies, ensuring the achievement of financial targets.
Ensure the effective recruitment, training, and development of all operational staff, promoting a positive work culture and encouraging career growth.
Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including owners, corporate teams, and suppliers, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
Regularly evaluate guest feedback and operational performance, implementing action plans to continuously improve service delivery and guest satisfaction scores.

About You

Proven experience as a General Manager or similar senior operational role in a large-scale hotel or resort environment, with a strong track record of managing multi-complex hotel operations.
A natural leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of motivating teams and fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L, and cost control measures to drive profitability.
In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, guest service standards, and industry best practices.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A strong understanding of current hospitality trends and market dynamics, with the ability to innovate and adapt in an evolving market.
Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
Preferably experience with transitioning a multi-complex hotel into an integrated resort to unify operations.
A passion for delivering excellence in service and creating lasting memories for guests.
