Specialist Endocrinology

Job Title: Specialist Endocrinologist Location: Sharjah, UAE Department: Endocrinology Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Endocrinologist to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with endocrine disorders, providing comprehensive care, and managing chronic conditions related to diabetes, thyroid, reproductive health, and other endocrine-related diseases. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management for a range of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, and reproductive health issues.
• Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical history, performing physical examinations, and ordering appropriate diagnostic tests.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, ensuring the best possible care.
• Provide ongoing care and management of chronic endocrine conditions, with a focus on long-term health outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on managing their conditions, lifestyle modifications, and proper medication use.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for patients.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in endocrinology and implement evidence-based practices.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress accurately in medical records.
• Participate in medical meetings, seminars, and continuous professional development activities.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, including residents and medical students.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, local regulations, and best practices in patient care.

• Education:
• MD in Medicine, with a specialization in Endocrinology or equivalent.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Endocrinology, with a proven track record in diagnosing and treating a wide range of endocrine disorders.
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings is preferred.
• Licensing:
• Must hold a valid medical license from the UAE (or eligibility for licensure).
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong clinical knowledge of endocrinology and related fields.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
