Duties:

Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LD;
System implementation and support for Departmental Infrastructure;
Supervise a team of staff to implement and support Departmental Infrastructure;
Perform network design and router/switch reconfiguration;
Perform services, hardware and software procurement;
Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by supervisors and the management of ITMD of LD;
May work in various locations, including Eastern, Central and Western district, and any other area in Hong Kong;
May be redeployed to provide IT support for other divisions/systems/projects in the future.

Requirements:

Must have experience in Infrastructure, Network design, Huawei VRP and Huawei Products;
Must have experience in Government procurement procedures;
Must have work experience in the Government;
Experience in H3C iMC Network Management System is highly desirable;
Experience in Windows server support is highly desirable;
Experience in SSADM is highly desirable;
Experience in Site Preparation is highly desirable;
Work experience in the Labour Department is desirable;
Interview will be conducted in both Cantonese and English.

Technical Skills:

At least 5 years' experience in Huawei VRP & Huawei Products (HAU);
At least 5 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF);
At least 5 years' experience in Network Design (NDN);
5 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM) is an advantage;
4 years' experience in SSADM (SDM) is an advantage;
4 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills:

At least 5 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
At least 5 years' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD);
4 years' experience in site preparation (SPE) is an advantage.

Education: Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; Experience: At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
