Job Title/ Category: Contract Systems Analyst (Bid Ref 51880-1) Number Of Vacancy: 1 Relevant Field: Others Nature: Contract Deadline: 27 Dec 2024 Contract Period: 01 Feb 2025 to 31 Jan 2026 (12 months) Payroll under: InfoTech Employer Business: Government T26 Contract Location Base: Eastern, Central and Western district, and any other areas in Hong Kong subject to operational need Monthly Salary Range: HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature: System implementation and on-going support

Duties:

  1. Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LD;
  2. System implementation and support for Departmental Infrastructure;
  3. Supervise a team of staff to implement and support Departmental Infrastructure;
  4. Perform network design and router/switch reconfiguration;
  5. Perform services, hardware and software procurement;
  6. Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by supervisors and the management of ITMD of LD;
  7. May work in various locations, including Eastern, Central and Western district, and any other area in Hong Kong;
  8. May be redeployed to provide IT support for other divisions/systems/projects in the future.

Requirements:

  1. Must have experience in Infrastructure, Network design, Huawei VRP and Huawei Products;
  2. Must have experience in Government procurement procedures;
  3. Must have work experience in the Government;
  4. Experience in H3C iMC Network Management System is highly desirable;
  5. Experience in Windows server support is highly desirable;
  6. Experience in SSADM is highly desirable;
  7. Experience in Site Preparation is highly desirable;
  8. Work experience in the Labour Department is desirable;
  9. Interview will be conducted in both Cantonese and English.

Technical Skills:

  1. At least 5 years' experience in Huawei VRP & Huawei Products (HAU);
  2. At least 5 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF);
  3. At least 5 years' experience in Network Design (NDN);
  4. 5 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM) is an advantage;
  5. 4 years' experience in SSADM (SDM) is an advantage;
  6. 4 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills:

  1. At least 5 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
  2. At least 5 years' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD);
  3. 4 years' experience in site preparation (SPE) is an advantage.
Education: Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; Experience: At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
