IT Operations Director

Job Summary: Propel Consult is seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Director to lead the Information Technology Department in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high levels of IT infrastructure systems uptime and availability, ensuring that critical business systems and the IT infrastructure are functioning properly and meeting the needs of the organization. We are committed to delivering exceptional services to our clients, and we require an experienced IT professional to join our team as an IT Operations Director. Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain high levels of IT infrastructure systems uptime and availability
2. Ensure critical business systems and the IT infrastructure are functioning properly and meeting the needs of the organization
3. Oversee the help desk function to provide end users with the necessary technology resources to perform their jobs effectively
4. Manage service level agreements and ensure that support requests are handled in a timely and effective manner
5. Carry out procurement activities for hardware, software, and other technology resources within the allocated budget
6. Provide guidance and leadership to the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements:

1. Strong technical background with Microsoft 365 Platform, including Azure, Exchange, Share Point, One Drive, and Office
2. Experience with Windows Operating Systems, SQL Server, and Active Directory
3. Proficient in Powershell scripting
4. Experience with Vm Ware, Azure, and AWS Server Virtualization
5. Project management skills
6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior management
