Profile Middle East is a service provider with more than 20 years of experience in the market which specializes in Technical Field and HR Consultancy Services in the Industrial Sector (Oil & Gas, Engineering, Construction, Commissioning) with our focus on the Middle East region and a worldwide presence.

Job summary

MISSION:

Experienced Project Manager with a strong background in railway / metro to manage civil and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the structural modification of station assets and systems modifications on MEP assets, including HVAC, dewatering systems, and electrical systems.

TASKS:

Manage all aspects of project management, including resources, stakeholders, scope of work, budget, risk and opportunity, planning, procurement, execution, verification and validation, and handover to business owners.

Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget by diligently applying specifications, costing, and effective project management.

Effectively apply KM methodologies and project management procedures, enforcing compliance with project standards.

Monitor and report on project progress, minimizing exposure and risk. Recognize and address project issues promptly. Perform program management to identify impacts and effective mitigations for critical paths.

Collaborate with Program Planning and Program Controls to set up project trackers and reports. Track project progress daily, weekly, and monthly, preparing required reports for stakeholders.

Lead E&M Project Engineers and other resources assigned to the project.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum undergraduate degree in engineering, project management, or a related field from an accredited university.

10+ years of significant experience in the railway or metro environment.

Relevant exposure to metro environments, particularly in the Middle East, is essential.

Fluent level of written and spoken English.

Job Location: Dubai, UAE;

Contract Duration: 1 year;

Starting Date: August 2024.
