Client of Reliance Management Consultancy
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of mechanical technicians and other workers on site.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Plan and schedule work assignments to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and inspect work progress to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during construction.
- Coordinate with other trades and departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Train and mentor junior staff on proper construction techniques and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and labor hours.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide updates on project status.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and utilized by workers.
- Adhere to project budget and report any budget deviations to management.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to promote a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical diploma or trade certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
