Excellent tax-free salary and outstanding benefits for the family are offered.Parkhouse Bell is representing a very reputable healthcare organization who is looking for a Specialist (Consultant) Pediatric Intensivist in Dubai.Minimum Requirements:Basic Medical Degree recognized by Dubai Healthcare City is required. Completion of a relevant recognized higher professional education program. Certification of higher professional education recognized by Dubai Healthcare City: MRCP plus CCST in Pediatrics, or American Board Certification, or FRCPC, or FRACP, or equivalent in Pediatric Intensive Care recognized by Dubai Healthcare City.Specialised Skills:Appropriate experience and competence in all aspects of Pediatric Intensive Care. Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience at an appropriate level, and in an appropriate field, since gaining higher qualification. Five (5) years Consultant level experience in a Western hospital setting preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, doctors, and other hospital staff. Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education. Publication in peer-reviewed journals would be well regarded. Demonstrated ability to deliver quality patient care. Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement for better health outcomes. Fluency in written and spoken English (Arabic language skills are well regarded). High level of verbal and written communication skills. High level of interpersonal and organizational skills. Good computer literacy.Key Outputs:Provide Pediatric Intensive Care services to patients. Participate equitably in the on-call roster. Participate in the oversight and professional development of assigned junior medical staff. Participate in the educational activities of the Medical Staff as a whole. Conduct Clinical Audits in line with Medical Advisory Committee requirements. Participate in review and planning activities relevant to the development of the Pediatric Service and the Hospital. Participate in activities and opportunities to promote the Pediatric Service and the Hospital to the general public and wider medical community of Dubai and the UAE. Fulfill professional requirements for continuing maintenance of competence in all aspects of Pediatric Intensive Care. Carry out other assigned duties within the appropriate scope of knowledge, skills, and abilities of the position.
