Senior Designer • Enthusiastic and engaging Designer with good client facing and presentation skills. • Understands and clarifies client's and Statutory Authority requirements. • Develops exceptional concept designs which reflects innovative, creative thinking while at the same time, meeting the client's brief and budget. • Ensures a high standard of presentation drawings. • Willingly works under pressure and meets agreed deadlines. • Supports Project Architects in the Concept Design & D/D phases. • Analyzes design and technical requirements to compile structured reports with content appropriate to design or technical status of the project. • Evaluates the contributions of the structural, mechanical and electrical and other disciplines to ensure their validity in the context of design and technical reports. • Facilitates the development of the production team structure, size and composition and a project time schedule in collaboration with the Head of Department and (Senior) Project Manager. • Collaborates with the Senior Project Manager throughout the duration of a project to establish realistic and achievable project goals with prudent time schedules. • Attends all design meetings and other meetings with various parties (clients, suppliers, statutory authorities, other disciplines) to clarify and/or confirm design requirements. Minimum Requirements: • 10 to 15 years working experience in a similar position/discipline. • Experience in managing a team consisting of an Architect/Interior Designer/FF&E Designer/draftsperson. • Relevant Degree in Design or Architecture.
