Oversee the overall provision of building, facilities, and related equipment maintenance services. Monitor build progress, project scheduling & reporting, and ensure project quality. Ensure permits and legal compliance are secured ahead of the project. Contribute to strategic planning by evaluating and projecting future facility needs and proposing options to achieve them. Oversee site and infrastructure projects performed by outside contractors; conduct regular site visits and spot checks, capital and operational budget reviews and variation analysis, and report findings to mitigate risks. Contribute to the procurement, vendor selection, negotiation, and evaluation process. Develop business cases and plans for further approval related to improvements, upgrades, new facilities, etc. Ensure that the initiated projects are managed and completed satisfactorily by liaising with the required team of qualified experts like architects, planners, and specialist consultants, ensuring that budget and agreed timelines are met. Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety Regulations relevant to the industry and keep abreast of any changes. Develop policies, procedures, and protocols and communicate them to relevant stakeholders. Prepare an annual business plan including budgeting plan; identify and manage the delegated budget responsibilities; incur, authorize, and control expenditure. Manage human, financial, and physical resources effectively to ensure they meet service standards and that the respective areas of business are meeting agreed KPIs and objectives and effectively cater for business requirements. Work closely with the Legal, Contracts, and Procurement Teams to ensure the Company's compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements in all contractual matters. Assign and delegate responsibilities to subordinate members. Lead and review their performance and progress in line with set objectives. Spend time coaching and guiding them to drive high performance.
