To Ensure the significant contribution involves fostering collaborative relationships and promoting a culture of quality excellence, thereby enhancing the organization's reputation and success in this sector. This includes developing and enforcing quality assurance procedures to maintain consistency and reliability. Collaborating with external vendors or subcontractors and evaluate performance, conduct audits, and provide guidance to minimize risks and improve quality. Develop the necessary new procedures and assess the existing ones to suit the yard requirement and business needs mainly for shipbuilding scope. Key Accountabilities Key Accountabilities: Identify gaps in efficient process workflow and suggest steps for supplier quality process improvement. Collect, prepare and analyze data for corrective action and process improvement. Support production operations and critical business situations. Provide general insights to the business on a regular basis, identifying key training requirement, or opportunities for process improvements where relevant. Lead QM Projects, Review Programs and Audits. Maintain the QM Site pages and ensure that they reflect the QM's current practices. Support and drive Employee Engagement. Strong presentation skills with the ability to present to all levels of leadership. Plan, prioritize, and schedule own workload as well as that of the team, including planning for the effective use of both resources and time. Respond rapidly and effectively to the immediate needs of quality situation, ensuring speedy appraisal of situations/identification of problems, evaluation of possible solutions/correction action, and timely implementation of agreed action plan. Contribute to the continuous improvement of vetting processes by participating in team meetings, providing feedback on and discussing breaches of standards with the team during regular meetings. Create a professional environment by leading by example, teamwork and communicating. Resolving competing personal demands. Ability to build rapport with team members to deliver effective coaching through a partnership approach. Maintaining interface with the Client (at the shop level) to ensure that all contractual and code requirements are met as far as the inspection scope is concerned. Rehabilitation knowledge to understand the best case management approach for customers. Understanding of how their decisions affect customers and business outcomes. Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness to identify process improvements and foster quality in others. Work within deadlines being resourceful, demonstrating independence, and using self-management skills. Play a vital role in expanding the Industry Consulting group´s expertise by keeping up with the latest developments in product- and process quality and reliability and by building a network of contacts and resources. Assist with training and mentoring by identifying and developing the skills of the QM staff. Prepare Quality scorecards by integrating, analyzing and correlating data from various sources (Customer Satisfaction, KPIs, Interaction Analytics, Average Handle Time, Consultative Selling, ) to enable managers to spend their time 'actioning' rather than collecting & analyzing data. In-depth knowledge of various codes, standards, and client specifications. Skilled in Leadership of quality improvement projects. Training and presenting to a wide range of audiences. Communicate with staff and Managers at all levels. Diagnosing process problem and developing solutions Identifying the need for training and certification for QC team Supporting the recruitment of new QC members Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies & procedures. Who we are looking for Education: Professional Qualifications: Senior Welding Inspection Cert. (CSWIP 3.2/AWS-SCWI or equivalent) ASNT/PCN NDT Certification at least to level II grade or equivalent in basic fabrication relevant methods (UT, RT, PT, MT). ISO 9001:2015 Auditor or Lead Auditor Certification. Experience: At least 18+ years' experience in the quality function of ship building, rig building or Oil & Gas Construction Industries, of which 5 years must have been in a managerial position.
