Job Summary:

The Ikandy Ultra Lounge Operations Manager at Shangri-La Dubai is responsible for overseeing the F&B operations of the outdoor bar and lounge. This role ensures high-quality food and service delivery, maximizes profitability, and enhances the guest experience.

Responsibilities:

Ensure high standards of food and beverage quality and service are consistently delivered to guests.

Drive revenue growth and maximize profitability for Ikandy Ultra Lounge through effective operational management.

Interact with customers to gather feedback and implement improvements in bar operations and service.

Maintain a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere, managing the decor and overall ambiance of the lounge.

Coach and develop team members to enhance their performance and service delivery.

Organize and plan special events or promotions to engage guests and attract new clientele.

Monitor inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.

Implement and uphold safety, hygiene, and operational standards in line with company policies.

Collaborate with the culinary team to design innovative and appealing menu offerings.

Prepare reports on performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Minimum of 24 months of experience in a luxury restaurant, lounge, or bar operation within a 5-star hotel environment.

Strong passion for food and beverage, with a commitment to exceptional guest service.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in the local language is an advantage.

Proven leadership abilities, with a friendly, approachable demeanor and a strong sense of responsibility.

Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and solve problems effectively.

Experience in financial management and cost control within F&B operations.

Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail in service and presentation.

Level of Education:

Diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field.

Work Hours:

Full-time, including shifts that may cover evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in Months:

24+ months of relevant experience in luxury hospitality.
