Our Client, specializing in aerial hydraulic platforms, is urgently recruiting a highly experienced Electrician to join their dynamic team. This role requires flexibility in work location, as it will be based in Dubai.Job Responsibilities:Perform a diverse range of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of Aerial Work Platforms (AWPs).Conduct preventive maintenance on AWPs following manufacturer recommendations and service schedules.Prepare and maintain accurate written records and reports, while interpreting plans and specifications as needed.Provide courteous responses to customer inquiries within the designated scope of responsibilities.Work safely and adhere to established safety protocols and procedures in accordance with TMW standards.Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly adhering to best practice safety procedures.Cultivate positive customer relations through professional interactions.Safely maintain and repair a variety of Aerial Work Platforms and associated equipment, incorporating mechanical, diesel, electrical, and electronic systems.Install and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components such as hydraulic cylinders, engine parts, switches, and controllers.Disassemble devices to access and replace defective parts, meticulously examining parts for imperfections.Lubricate and clean parts, conducting performance tests before and after repair.Operate repair equipment and parts according to prescribed procedures.Diagnose issues, conduct preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot faults in alignment with manufacturer requirements.Generate detailed "Field Service Reports" and "Service Work Orders" outlining maintenance tasks, faults identified, and resources utilized.Maintain service vehicles in a clean and professional condition.Conduct inspections on used parts to identify imperfections or dimensional changes, making necessary adjustments or replacements.Install specialized functional and structural parts in equipment.Interpret schematic drawings, service manuals, and parts manuals.Calibrate equipment using electronic aids and programmable controllers.Troubleshoot and inspect machines for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults and malfunctions.Work independently or lead a team in major repair and maintenance projects.Remain flexible in responding to changes in schedules and job scope across all equipment.Travel extensively and respond to 24-hour emergency calls promptly and efficiently.Prioritize work plans to ensure assignments are completed with quality and minimal supervision.Provide instructions and training on proper repair methods and processes.Identify and propose necessary tools to complete tasks safely and efficiently.Perform specialized maintenance and repair work, including major overhauls of engines, hydraulic pumps, cylinders, and other mechanical components.Repair electrical components such as starter motors, alternators, and various controllers.Test and perform pressure setting procedures on various components.Utilize testing and measuring instruments to analyze and calibrate equipment parameters.Interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics to troubleshoot faults.Conduct major refurbishment work on AWPs, including the replacement of boom/scissor assemblies and major components.Conduct periodic safety, operation, and maintenance inspections at various sites.Install tracking and tracing equipment on AWPs and upgrade equipment system performance in line with manufacturer's safety notices.RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:Proven experience as an Electrician, specifically with hydraulic-powered heavy equipment.Strong knowledge of Aerial Work Platforms (AWPs) and related systems.Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Flexibility to travel and respond to emergency calls as needed.Willing to work alternate Saturdays.Willing to work on shifting the schedule.
