ARE YOU READY TO GROW YOUR CAREER WITH THIS NEW SALES OPPORTUNITY… Due to continued growth, Brandt has an opportunity for a Sales Consultant to join our Terang Sales team. About the role:
- Represent the company for the sale of equipment to customers, within a geographic area (which Brandt may amend from time to time, at its sole discretion).
- Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
- Implement and maintain regular call cycles within a given area of responsibility.
- Monitor trends in customer business and competitors’ activity/products.
- Maintain all customer information in assigned territory for sales management.
- Achieve sales objectives set by Brandt as part of the sales planning process, including but not limited to market share.
- Assist with the preparation and execution of customer events.
- Conduct new equipment field demonstrations.
- Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
- Attend applicable sales training events/seminars.
- Timely communication of trends, activity, sales reports, etc., to Management.
- Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes.
- The ability to grow sales within a specified sales territory.
- Organization skills are a must-have.
- The capability to balance multiple tasks and priorities.
- A strong communicator with the skill to effectively influence others.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
- Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment considered an asset.
